Services in the Employment Sector
The company CaT Consulting and Training Europe EWIV (http:// www.cat-europe.net) consisting of the two shareholders Berufsförderungsinstitut Wien (bfi Wien, siehe http://www.bfi-wien.or.at) and TechConcept - PlanConsult Deutschland GmbH provides many services in the field of employment policy and building/strengthening of employment related institutions.
The services include:
- Development of national employment strategies and active labour market measures with the focus on (re-) integration of disadvantaged persons (young people, migrants, women, elderly) into the labour market.
- Planning of and technical assistance at establishment and implementation of training centres, schools, colleges and universities of applied sciences based on training needs analysis according to the demands of the labour market and lifelong learning.
Relevant practical experience is coming from management and operation of an own vocational training centre (with about 730 apprenticeship training positions), two own commercial colleges (currently approximately 1,400 students and 120 teachers) and one own University of Applied Sciences (at present 550 graduates, about 60 permanent employees and 280 freelancers) through bfi Wien.
- Development of plans for decentralisation, reorganisation and development (strengthening) and building of institutions in the field of employment services by meeting the national employment policy strategy.
- Development of training programmes and supporting tools according to the national and European employment strategies focused on disadvantaged groups (young people, migrants, women, elderly).
- Technical assistance in the establishment, organisation, management amd operation of training centres.
- Development of training materials and establishment of "train the trainer" programmes in various fields to meet European quality criteria.
