- transport prognosis for different scenarios,
- calculation of investment needs,
- cost-benefit analysis under macro-economic aspects,
- net present value and internal rate of return method followed by sensitivity analysis.
- Harmonisation of transport related legislation with the EUROPEAN UNION (see Laws and Legislation)
- Transport prognosis works based on surveys and collection/analysis of data concerning local/regional/international transport flows under consideration of the development of macroeconomy, internal and foreign trade, motorisation, population, mobility etc.
- Advisory services and technical assistance of Ministries of Transport, Road Administrations, Railway Organisations and Customs Authorities in respect to general strategic planning and project justification.
- Institution building/strengthening of transport organisations including privatisation.
User surveys in the transport sector
- User surveys at passengers and representatives of forwarders, transporters, commerce and industry and state organisations active at border crossings (customs control, police, veterinary control, phyto-sanitary control).
- Face-to-face interviews in the transport economy for identification of transport markets.
